Welcome to FlyQ Online
Version 2.0.0.2 (7/30/2019)
FlyQ Online is a Web-based flight information system unlike anything else. Many people will consider it a flight planner, and it is, but it's also much more. Today, beyond flight planning, it includes very detailed airport information, detailed text and graphical weather information, and a terrific fuel price search system. It replaces many Web sites you may use today. In the near future, it will go considerably further, Best of all, the flight plans you create here are instantly and automatically available to FlyQ EFB and FlyQ InSight on your iPad/iPhone. The user-interface is very similar to, but not identical to, FlyQ EFB. Some differences are noted below.
FlyQ Online is designed and tested for current version of all major Web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Internet Explorer (IE), FireFox, and Safari). It's designed for both PC and Mac and takes full advantage of large screens and mouse/keyboard interfaces. It will not work properly on an iPhone, iPad, or Android device. For those, please use FlyQ EFB or FlyQ InSight.
IMPORTANT: Internet Explorer (IE) USERS: FlyQ Online requires IE 11. IE 10 and below are NOT supported. If you're using Windows 7 or later, you can and should upgrade to IE 11. If you're using Windows XP or Vista, please use a different browser such as Google Chrome or FireFox.
Please report any unknown bugs, questions, suggestions, and concerns to support@seattleavionics.com. Be sure to mention the Web browser you're using and be as specific as possible about bugs, inclduding exactly how to reproduce the problem.

Differences from FlyQ EFB
- The general user interface (UI) for flight planning is a little different. FlyQ Online has sub tabs for New, Recent, NavLog, WxBrief, and FAA Plan. That means you can pop between a current plan (NavLog) and either create a new one (New tab) or open a different existing one (Recent tab) with just a click. Future versions of EFB to work this way.
- You can have the system plan fuel stops! From Plans/New, there is a checkbox for adding fuel. From the Search box, add the new F option to the route entry. In other words, PAE SFO V F means Paine Field (KPAE) to SFO via Victors with Fuel stops. V and F can be reversed but must be at the end. Other options are J (Jets), G (GPS Direct), N (None) and W (Winds + Fuel). If you leave off any of these flags, the system will use your personal default settings, unlike FlyQ. You can change your personal defaults in Settings. You can also have the system default to adding fuel stops. Therefore, if you want to ensure that no fuel gets added, you can add a –F flag to mean "No fuel".
- There is a handy Zulu clock in the upper right corner.
- Rubber-banding a flight plan does not put the flight plan into any kind of "offline" mode like FlyQ EFB does. In fact, there is no offline mode.
- When adding fuel, you have the same options as Voyager — add a specific amount, top off the tanks, refill the tanks to whatever the starting amount was. As you alter the flight plan later, these values change dynamically and automatically.
- When changing the alt of a flight plan point, you can change the altitude for just that point or change the altitude of all points after it or of all points in the whole flight plan. The system will also automatically correct altitudes for cardinal altitudes based on direction of flight and flight rules (VFR vs. IFR).
